Each tool is small on purpose. The controls stay close to the output, and every result comes with a practical explanation of what it means.

No matching tool. Try “JWT” or “clamp”.

The principle / 001

Useful first.
Precise where it counts.

A useful tool should do more than return a result. It should help you understand the result you are about to use.

JWT tokens can be decoded without being trusted. Responsive values can be made fluid without becoming inaccessible. The details are the point, not an afterthought hidden below the interface.

These utilities keep the workflow close to the explanation: a clear output, a plain-language note about its limits, and a route to the underlying concepts when you want to go deeper.

01 / LOCALBrowser-firstParsing and calculation happen on your device; no decoding endpoint is required.
02 / EXPLICITClear limitsNo fake “valid” badge when a token has only been decoded.
03 / TEACHINGContext includedGuides cover the concepts, common mistakes and useful next checks.

DevArea Tools is an independent utility project for web developers and designers. Use the tools, read the sources, and adapt the output to your own project.

About the project
Good questions / direct answers

Before you use a tool.

Are DevArea Tools free to use?

Yes. The JWT inspector and CSS clamp generator run in the browser without an account or paid plan.

Does the JWT tool verify token signatures?

No. It decodes and inspects the visible header and payload. It does not verify the cryptographic signature or establish that a token should be trusted.

Is my token sent to a server?

The published inspector uses local JavaScript to decode the supplied token and does not call a decoding API. Avoid using sensitive credentials on shared or untrusted devices.

What does the CSS clamp generator create?

It calculates a CSS clamp() expression from minimum and maximum sizes and the viewport widths where those limits should apply.

Can I use the generated CSS in commercial projects?

Yes. The generated CSS is ordinary CSS that you can adapt for your own projects; test the result in the context of your design system.
